Fast food dining is food on the go. Everyone who eats a double cheeseburger and a Big Mac from McDonald's know what I'm talking about. Family style restaurants are my second favorite type of dining. AppleBee's is the perfect example. Pub 280 is a bar that sells simple food if you consider philly cheese steak simple. Golden Corral's all you can eat buffet is awesome. The rolls are to die for. Destination restaurants are more of an experience type of restaurant because you don't see it often. Buffalo's Southwest Cafe' in Warner Robins is delicious.

Five food restaurant styles would be fine dining, cafe, family, fast food, and diner. Fine dining would consist of fancy cuisines and attire, and would very likely use the kitchen brigade system. Cafes would consist of simple foods and attire and would probably not use the kitchen brigade system. Family restaurants would probably be buffets and other things but no kichen brigade system. Fast food restaurants will be organized and quick. Diners will be fast serving and or buffets.

Some people like buffets. Some people like a cafeteria. Others like it fancy. There are many different restaurant styles. Buffet is a type of restaurant that lets you get the food. For example Ryan's is an all you can eat buffet. Cafeterias are like the school's, someone hands you the food on your tray. Family dining restaraunt is when you sit in a booth or at a table and wait on a server to take your order and bring it out for example Applebee's. Cafe is a more of a comfortable environment. They serve quick and easy meals like coffee and a donut. Cafe's can be found in busy towns. Pub is usually centered around a bar like down here Pub 280 is a type of pub.

Fine dining is different from casual dining because of the food and the setting. When people think of fine dining, white table clothes and waiters in tuxes come to mind.Casual fine dining starts with high quality, freshly prepared food and ingredients that, in most other cities, would be reserved for high-end restaurants. There must also be high standards of service without the pomp and circumstance.Ruby tuesdays is a fine restorant.

There are many styles of restraunts. There is fast food which is where they emphasize on speed of service and low cost. McDonalds is an example of a fast food restaurant. A pub is a bar that serves simple food fare. An example is Pub280 in downtown Americus. A cafe is a informal restraunt and usually offers a range of hot meals and made -to-go sandwhiches. An example is Hard Rock Cafe. A buffet offers patrons a selection of food at a fixed price. An example of this type is Golden Corral. A family style restraunt is a restraunt that has a fixed menu and fixed price. An example of this style would be CiCi's Pizza.

  38. There are various types of restaurant. Restaurants fall into several industry classifications based upon menu style, preparation methods and pricing. Additionally, how the food is served to the customer helps to determine the classification.

Historically, restaurant referred only to places that provided tables where one sat down to eat the meal, typically served by a waiter. Following the rise of fast food and take-out restaurants, a retronym for the older "standard" restaurant was created, sit-down restaurant. Most commonly, "sit-down restaurant" refers to a casual dining restaurant with table service, rather than a fast food restaurant, where one orders food at a counter. Sit-down restaurants are often further categorized as "family-style" or "formal".

In British English, the term restaurant almost always means an eating establishment with table service, so the "sit-down" qualification is not usually necessary. Fast food and takeaway (take-out) outlets with counter service are not normally referred to as restaurants. Outside of North-America, the terms fast casual dining restaurants, family style, and casual dining are not used. Junk food establishments would also not often be referred to as a 'restaurant'.
